Function IsCBuilder

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Indicates if current project was compiled by C++ Builder.

Code (Delphi)

function IsCBuilder: Boolean;

Return value

True if project was compiled by C++ Builder; False otherwise (e.g. compiled by Delphi).

This function is used to determinate if you are running C++ Builder project or Delphi project. This is useful if you need to take C++ Builder specifics into account.

Note that this is not the same as compiler for units. For example, the unit can be compiled by Delphi, but be included/used in C++ Builder project. This function will return True for such case, while any compile-time check inside the unit will return False.
