Verifies that the caller has write access to the specified file.

function IsWritableFile(

const AFileName: String

): Boolean;

 

Parameters

AFileName [in]

A full absolute file name.

 

Return value

If the current process have a GENERIC_WRITE access to AFileName file, the return value is True.

 

If the current process doesn't have a GENERIC_WRITE access to AFileName file, the return value is False.

 

Remarks

This function tries to open specified file with GENERIC_WRITE access. If this operation succeeds - the function returns True, otherwise - False.

 

If file doesn't exists, function tries to create it. However, file is deleted after the check.
